None of us can be experts on everything but British law works on the principle that ignorance is no excuse.

Sometimes a sea change in regulation occurs that will have far reaching implications and where it would be useful to have the opportunity to exchange views and use collective experience as a means of establishing best practice.

We believe that the Agency Workers Directive now enacted as the Agency Workers Regulations 2010 will have a fundamental impact on the way UK business organises its labour.

As of late July the Coalition is still debating the way the Act is to be implemented and until the crucial guidance notes are issued nobody can give categorical advice on the way forward but it is a time for preparation.
